Qualifications and origins

Paul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 with one of the big London firms, then worked for many years in a medium sized firm before deciding to offer a general practitioner service through his own business, which he set up in 2007. With a long-term interest in languages, (his Oxford degree was in French and Spanish), and having lived in Barcelona, Paul is able to help clients in French, Spanish and Catalan.

Chris is another big firm experienced Chartered Accountant.  Having trained in London he has for the last twenty years concentrated on business advisory and private company corporate finance services.  These include the purchase and sale of businesses.  He has also been involved in expert witness work and brings many extra skills to the firm.

Chamberlains’ professionals

We benefit greatly from having the following additional people:

Keith Olding – An FCA qualified Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Advisor and holds an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation.  Keith is able to support a vast spectrum of clients.  He also holds an MBA and has broad experience in commerce as well as in accountancy firms.

Richard Ullah -Richard has been working in Accounting Practices for 30 years and has gained a wealth of experience mainly helping small and medium sized business.

 

Nikki Crumbie -An FCA qualified accountant and auditor with experience of working in large London firms.   She also holds a BSc and spent a year living in Germany.

 

Nigel Ratcliffe – A qualified Sage user, a part-qualified AAT trainee, and a Xero certified advisor.

 

 

Yali Xu – Is our accounts assistant who is working towards her accountancy qualification.  She also speaks Mandarin.

 

 

Shelene Crane – An experienced Office Manager who looks after us in the office as well as providing some Company Secretarial support to clients and PA support to Chris Lowry.

 

Not to mention Paul’s wife, Linda – who just happens also to be another linguist-turned  Chartered Accountant. She’s been a valuable help since the start.
